What do we do?
Cisceo PLC design and manufacture monitoring, automation and control equipment. We openly publish our designs so anyone can adapt or contribute to the process. Our simple protocol can be carried by wireless, cable, IR and powerline for the mains.
We will soon be supplying fully built modules as well as supporting "self builders". We will soon have examples based on hardware & software other than just PICAXE BASIC.
|
 |
Why?
Ciseco PLC came into being to meet an ever-increasing demand for efficient and automated technology in the home and in business.
As energy costs sharply rise, such systems can deliver significant savings without sacrificing comfort.
We are developing a range of hardware and software that can be used in the average home or workplace to monitor and control almost any appliance or activity.
Using your PC, and building on the wireless technology that most of us are already familiar with, we can help you to extend the internet right to your door, fridge, heating system, lighting, security... well, your imagination is the limit.
Our products are ever evolving, and new applications are being conceived daily. What started out as energy saving has grown into a much bigger project that can provide audio visual control, security and even fun devices, the list ever grows. |

History behind smartKONTROL see why I developed it.. a brief history >

A complete framework from one source.
Our software system is aKONTROL which drives the hardware via a windows PC that makes your environment work for you.
The language the devices talk to each other with is called aPROTOCOL. It's designed to be simple to use.
The intelligent devices for monitoring and controlling are called aSENSORs.
Shareware, open source it's all FREE
We are open developers, meaning we are happy to share our knowledge. You can rework and change any of our designs to suit your own needs. What's more is that for personal use you can do this for FREE, only commercial products need to be licensed.
